Games Played tells you how many games you have played, whether or not you completed them.
Games Finished tells you how many games you played from start to finish.
Games Abandoned is the number of games you started but did not finish. It does not matter whether you played in the game for 2 seconds or 20 minutes - it counts as abandoned if you left it before it finished.
Games Won (absolute) is the number of games that you won using "absolute" statistics. For a team game such as Pinochle or Spades, there are 2 "absolute" winners - the team who won the game. For a Hearts game there is 1 "absolute" winner - 2nd place is counted as a loss in absolute statistics.
Games Lost (absolute) is a count of the games that you lost using "absolute" statistics. See the detailed rules about how absolute wins and losses are counted below.

The Absolute Win Ratio is a bar, in red and green, that shows your absolute wins and losses as a ratio. In the example above, I have won a single game and lost 2 games. The win ratio is 1/3, approximately 33%, and the loss ratio is 2/3, approximately 67%.

The Relative Win Ratio applies a different rule. Second place finishers are counted as "winning" over third place finishers and fourth place finishers, etc. Third place finishers are counted as winning over fourth place finishers.

So the Relative Win Ratio is very similar to the Absolute Win Ratio in a game like Spades, where there is only one winning team and one losing team. In Hearts, it can be quite different. The absolute ratio only counts you winning if you come in first. The relative ratio gives you partial credit if you come in second. You are counted as losing to the first place player, but winning to the second place and third place finishers. This is why your "Relative Win Ratio" can look so different from the "Absolute Win Ratio" especially for Hearts.

Here is a list of the rules for a game counting as an "absolute" win or loss:

  1. There is only 1 winner per game.
  2. If you leave a game before it ends, you forfeit that game, and it counts as a loss for you.
    1. Exception: If you are seated at a table for less than 30 seconds, it will not be counted as a forfeit if you leave. This is done to be fair to someone who takes a losing seat directly at the end of a game.
  3. Only human players are counted as winning or losing; if a bot wins or loses, it does not show up in the global statistics for absolute wins and losses.
Note that in the screenshot above, Mr Pinochle's stats show he abandoned 25 games. Yet he only has an "absolute loss" count of 2. This is because games are counted as being abandoned even if you stay in them for a few seconds, whereas the absolute loss count is incremented only if you quit a game after you've been playing in it for 30 seconds or more. This is why the two stats can appear so different.

If you click on the Hearts radio button in your stats, you may see an extra statistic: your Elo rating and your Skill percent:

If you've played a "ranked" Hearts card game, the Elo rating and Skill percent are also recorded. The details of how Elo ratings are computed and what your Skill percent means are given here.
