Delete your World of Card Games account

Last updated: October 2026

This page explains how to delete your World of Card Games account, and what happens to your data when you do. It covers the website worldofcardgames.com and our game apps for iPhone, iPad and Android: Euchre, Hearts, Spades, Gin Rummy, Double Deck Pinochle, Twenty-Nine and Sergeant Major (358). On Google Play the apps are published by Online Solitaire, and on the App Store by Holger Sindbaek. Holger Sindbaek ApS runs the website and the apps and is responsible for your data, as our Privacy Policy explains.

One account works on the website and in every app. When you delete it in one place, it is deleted everywhere.

Delete your account in an app

  1. Open the app. On the home screen, tap the gear in the top right corner.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Next to Delete account, tap Delete.
  4. If your account has a password, enter it. Then tap Delete account.

If you sign in only with Google, Facebook or Apple, the app does not ask for a password. Being signed in is enough.

Delete your account on the website

  1. Go to worldofcardgames.com and sign in.
  2. Click your name in the top right corner and choose Settings.
  3. Click Account. Next to Delete account, click Delete.
  4. If your account has a password, enter it. Then click Delete account.

We delete the account at once, and you cannot undo it. If you pay for a subscription on the website, we cancel the subscription first, so you are not charged again.

Ask us to delete your account

You do not need the app or the website to delete your account. Write to holger@worldofcardgames.com from the email address on your account, and tell us your username. We delete the account and write back when it is done, within 30 days. If you write from another address, we may ask you to show that the account is yours.

You can also ask us to delete some of your data and keep your account, for example your statistics. Tell us in the email what you want deleted.

If you play as a guest, there is no account to delete in Settings. Write to us with the guest name that the game shows you, the game, and the day you last played, and we delete the data we hold for that guest.

What we delete

  • Your username, your email address and your password.
  • Your statistics, your ratings and your places on the leaderboards.
  • Your settings, and your sign-ins on every device.
  • Your links to Google, Facebook and Apple sign-in. If you use Sign in with Apple, we also ask Apple to end our access to your Apple account.
  • The players you liked, disliked or muted, and your place on other players' lists of the same kind.
  • Your reputation, your strikes and the dates of your bans.

What we keep, and for how long

Some data stays for a time after you delete your account. Other players still need some of it, some of it protects the games from abuse, and the law asks us to keep some of it.

  • Private messages that you sent to friends stay in their conversations. Each conversation keeps its last 100 messages.
  • Lists of games played together and recent games, yours and other players', and the standing tables you were part of, keep your player number. They do not keep your username or your email address.
  • Your activity in friends' feeds is kept for up to 30 days.
  • The calendar of days you played is kept for up to 100 days.
  • Games you played offline in an app are kept for about 30 days after the app reports them to us.
  • Daily challenge results are kept for 3 days.
  • Table logs are kept for 3 days. They hold every message sent at a table, including chat, with a coded form of the sender's IP address. Chat logs are kept for 2 days.
  • Bug reports that you sent us, with the state of the game, are kept for 30 days.
  • An identifier made from your IP address is kept if you were banned, so that a banned player cannot come back with a new account.
  • Payment records. If you paid on the website, Stripe keeps your customer record and your payments, and we keep our accounting records for 5 years, as Danish law asks.
  • Backups. Our server keeps a copy of its database every day for 7 days, and our hosting provider keeps backup copies of the server for a short time. Your data leaves the backups when they run out.
  • Server logs, which record connections and errors, are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
  • Analytics data stays with each analytics service for the time that service keeps it. Our Privacy Policy names the services.
  • Emails you sent us are kept for as long as we need them to answer you.

Google, Facebook and Apple keep their own records of your sign-ins with them. To remove our app from your account there, use that company's account settings.
